Augustana Women’s Golf Set for NCAA Super Regional
SIOUX FALLS, SD — The Augustana Women’s Golf Team is ready for the NCAA Central Region at Hot Springs Country Club in Hot Springs, Arkansas, Monday through Wednesday.
The event consists of 54 holes over three days of competition. The top three teams will qualify for the NCAA Championships May 10-14 at Chattahoochee Golf Club in Gainesville, Georgia.

“We are thrilled to extend our season at the NCAA Regional,” said the NSIC Coach of the Year and Augustana head coach. Coralee Jorgensen. “Their confidence shows in their swings as we continue to practice this week.”
Augustana is fresh off the NSIC Championship where she won her 11th NSIC Women’s Golf Championship in program history. The Vikings had three golfers named to the All-Tournament Team, including Shannon McCormick who took second place. The other members of the all-tournament team were Molly Stevens who came third and Masy Mockwho finished tied for fourth in the event.
Stevens won NSIC Golfer of the Year while Jorgensen won his second straight NSIC Coach of the Year. Steve, Lauren Tim and Nathalie Young were all named First Team All-NSIC.

Besides champions NSIC Augustana, the other eight competing teams are Rogers State, GAC Champions Henderson State, Central Missouri, Arkansas Tech, MIAA Champions Nebraska Kearney, Northeastern State and Southwestern Oklahoma State.
There will also be six people from other Central Region schools participating in the event.
Hot Springs Country club is located in Hot Springs, Arkansas and plays 5,932 yards at par 72.
