NPC Golf Set in Wack Wack
The National Press Club will mark its landmark 70th anniversary celebrations with a fun golf tournament on November 25 with a cheerful mix of players – from private and government sectors, big business and the media – vying for top honors in various divisions. at Wack Wack West Course in Mandaluyong.
Organizers expect to attract nearly a hundred participants to the 18-hole tournament which also aims to raise funds for various NOC projects and programs, including scholarships for the children of NOC members. .
The NPC is a professional and social organization of journalists and photojournalists – from various media platforms such as print, television and radio in the country.
The first funders of the event are the Cagayan Economic Zone Authority and National Irrigation Authority Administrator Benny Antiporda.
The titles up for grabs are the overall championship for rough and net and classes A, B and C. The format is the Stableford scoring system with special rewards to be won in designated fun holes, including the most accurate drive , the longest drive closest to the spindle.
Organizers of the event, also organized to foster camaraderie and friendship among media professionals, private organizations and individuals, will cover green fee, food and drink with big prizes up for grabs in the raffle spell.
