Revised plans submitted for vacation lodges on Northumberland Golf Course
Northumberland Estates, owner of the golf club, wants to build eight holiday lodges on the 18th fairway.
It is part of a £ 500,000 investment made by The Duke of Northumberland Development Company in partnership with the golf club.
The plans were originally submitted in October, but have now been revised slightly.
The same number of lodges is offered but the layout has been changed.
Planning permission has already been granted for a new lodge and shed for greenkeepers, while separate plans have recently been filed for a new golf reception and changing rooms.
A 10-unit site in the northwest and a 15-unit do-it-yourself site in the east also have a building permit.
It is envisioned that access to the vacation lodges will be from a new access and a new track serving the development of the clubhouse.
Work on the clubhouse is being carried out by DP Builders, based in Amble.
