Tiger Woods sighting? Photo shows Tiger is back on the golf course to watch his son Charlie, club in hand
Tiger Woods has been recovering from his one-time car accident in February. Woods suffered fractures to the tibia and fibula in his right leg, as well as other damage to his lower leg. He was spotted in Los Angeles visiting doctors while in rehab, sitting in a cart watching his son, Charlie, play golf, but this sighting is a little different.
A photo posted on the Twitter account @ TWLEGION appears to show Woods keeping an eye on his son on the shooting range, apparently at a junior event in Florida. Woods stands alone – without crutches or a golf cart – with a golf club in hand, with just a black sleeve on the majority of his right leg.
We haven’t heard much from Woods since his accident, but we did hear about his conversation with the U.S. Ryder Cup team a few weeks ago at Whistling Straits. His message obviously resonated with the team, which would then demolish the European team, 19-9.
This image should be another positive sign for golf fans, as it looks like Woods is returning to the PGA Tour after all. Steve Stricker had this to say about Woods in the days leading up to the Ryder Cup.
“He won’t be able to be a captain’s assistant this time around due to his ongoing rehabilitation to try and improve. To try to play golf again. And it’s going well, ”Stricker said. ” He’s making progress. He is doing well, things are moving in the right direction.
We’ve seen some amazing things from Woods, including his triumph at Augusta National in 2019. At this point it’s impossible to doubt him.
