CINCINNATI – The Cincinnati Women’s Golf Team‘s final tournament before the AAC Championships happens to be the closest, the two-day EKU Colonel Classic in Richmond, Ky.

The Bearcats will face off on the Arlington Golf Course, par 72, 5,910 yards, just off campus. Participating teams include Northern Illinois, Cleveland State, Northern Alabama, Dayton, Akron, Butler and Georgia State.

Katie Hallinan, Sadie Pan, Paighton Masterson, Alexis Daniel and Julia Rabadam will compete on the team scoreboard, while makenna jones will play individually.

This course has fond memories for the Bearcats from March 29-30, 2021. Hallinan, in his first semester with the team, recorded a school record 36 holes with a 68 and 67, ultimately finishing second with a 3-under of 213. Masterson also tied for 17e with a 224. His ranking and score remain the best of his career.

Pan’s 77.19 shot average is second only to Hallinan’s 75.92 for the team leader. Daniel and Rabadam are both playing their sixth tournament.

UC just finished fourth at the Babs Steffens Invitational in Daytona Beach, its season-best for seeding and scoring, which included a season-low 300 to close it out. Pan finished fifth for his second top five of the season, while Hallinan finished second by a stroke for his fourth.
