Women’s golf set to compete at Boston College Intercollegiate

CANTON, Mass. — Hartford’s women’s golf team continues its fall 2022 season, heading north to Massachusetts to compete in Boston College Intercollegiate. Held at the Blue Hill Country Club championship course in Canton, Mass., the two-day event kicks off Monday.

  • Hawks continue 2022 slate after opening year at Yale Women’s Invitational
  • Second year Madeline Adam tied for 24th place to lead the Hawks, who faced a strong field of 15 teams
  • Adam continued his success from 2021-22, pacing the team in his first season, posting an average score of 79.74
  • Sophomore Leslie Li shot a 28 of 241 to finish in 76th
  • Senior Lara Young completed the top three for the Hawks, following close behind in 77th after posting a total score of 242 (+29)


  • The Hawks placed 13th at Boston College Intercollegiate last season
  • Lilly Moreau led the Hawks, shooting 242 (+26) in three rounds, finishing in 57th place
  • Madeline Adam tied for 59th with a score of 244 (84-76-84, +28)
  • Yeung tied for 64th with a three-round score of 248 (82-88-78, +32)


  • The Hawks return to Connecticut, hosting the Hartford Hawks Women’s Invitational on Monday, October 3
  • Held at Wintonbury Hills Golf Club near Bloomfield, Connecticut, the 36-hole event spans two days
