Women’s Warhawk Golf Set for Lady Red Wolves Classic


MONROE, Louisiana – The ULM Women’s Golf Team opens the Lady Red Wolves Classic Monday at the Sage Meadows Golf Club in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Sage Meadows is a par 72, 6,164 yards. This is a modern links inspired course that is fair and challenging for golfers of all skill levels. The course features zoysiagrass fairways and TifEagle Bermuda greens as well as water on nine of the holes.

Chantal Dueringer, Charlotte fourdraine, Maria Garcia, Alessia mengoni and Petersen Line will compete for the ULM. The Warhawks will start at 8:30 am Monday, with Dueringer and Fourdraine on the first hole, Garcia on the second and Mengoni and Petersen on the third.

Dueringer has finished in the Top 10 twice this season after placing sixth at the Bearkat Invitational, hosted by Sam Houston State, two weeks ago. Dueringer shot a 217-4 over par (72-71-74). She played in each of the first three tournaments and leads the team with an average of 72.33 points.

Fourdraine finished 17th at the Bearkat Invitational at 9 over par 222 (75-69-78). She also played in the first three tournaments of the season and posted an average score of 75.44.

Garcia placed 22nd at 225 (79-72-74). She joins Dueringer and Fourdraine as the only Warhawks to play in each of the first three tournaments. She has an average of 76.44.

Petersen was 26th with 226 (77-76-73) at the Bearkat Invitational. It was his first appearance of the season.

Mengoni was 30th with 228 (83-71-74) at the Bearkat Invitational. She played in two tournaments (USA Intercollegiate) with an average of 76.00.
